Creative Writer - easy writing App Reviews

I downloaded this app to help me write a childrens book for my daughter. The keyboard isnt easy to use. I wish theyd use the iPhone keyboard. I downloaded some of the add-ons like the "dictionary pro" and the "poetry" package. Both were totally useless. Its easier to Google the words in Safari. Biggest waste of $4.99. I decided to just use the "Pages" app that comes with the iPhone. The keyboard is an annoying hot pink color and cant auto type as well as the iPhone keyboard. I dont recommend this app.

This allows for creativity to live in a constant state of inspiration. It places new words, ideas and thoughts in a random manor and at the same time gives the tools to effortlessly form lyrics, poetry and more with a few taps. Now this isnt a magic button. Youll still need to bring your own skills to the table, though through it youll be exposed to new ways of writing than you may be used to. Its incredibly useful for breaking out of a box and freeing your mind to try many new styles and concepts at once, giving a more rewarding result at the end of the writing process. Having purchased the in-app content, as I use them specifically for lyric writing, I have to say Im very pleased. Two thumbs up.

This app is really usefull as a songwriter ans help to find or enhance sentences

I use this app for writing song lyrics. Everytime I get stuck it helps me to move on! It can definitely help to get over writers block, worth a mill!

For those who write this is genius. Find a kick for the rhyme or construct a story, write when you have no idea-this app is the best friend if you stuck or if you need inspiration. Marvellous, humorous and intelligent. 100% worth every in-app. 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good writing app..no more blank page!

This really is a helpful app if youre trying to write, the prompts are great, numerous and varied, and it is a lot of fun to use. As a future suggestion, it would be great if the app could add the words that you enter manually. Also, I find the keyboard a little bit laggy on my ipad 3 - I type, and have to wait a second for it to catch up - would be great if it could be fixed! Otherwise highly recommended to add a little boost to your writing!

It takes a long time to use this, much longer than any other writing program.I could write several pages in the time it took to get one paragraph written.There are limited ways to transfer work to other formats. The keyboard sits on top of the area you are working on so you cant see what you are doing except in the centre where the keyboard is split. The word suggestions in a very short paragraph did not show the appropriate word in 4 out 5 words. So, I just dont get it.When I tried emailing a sample the keyboard sat on top of the pop up contact list so I was unable to move it off or see which address on the list I wanted.

The app is decent at doing what it says itll do. Sadly, it seems to be more a markov chain than anything else, so expect it only to be useful for ideas, not writing. Its also 838MB on my phone, which is taxing.

Love the update, but there is no more regular keyboard which was introduced in the last update. It would be nice if there was an option to switch from the regular keyboard and the keyboard in the app.

I bought a different writing app for around $4 but this one is free and actually has different backgrounds, which I like the most, so I love it! :)

Found this App by accident, while browsing . Downloaded it and played! It is a wonderful app for spontaneous writing. Great for poetry, Im buying some of the in-app things this Christmas for myself.

This is my second review for this awesome app. These folks have made something that every creative writer should be using. The purpose of the app is to spark new ideas you wouldnt have had otherwise by inserting a bit of serendipity into your sentence construction. Lets say you want to write a short story with no preconceived notion of where you want to begin. Launch your preferred writing app and switch to the Creative Writer keyboard and youll be presented with a selection of possible words to begin your first sentence with. Tap one. Now the list switches to a list of statistically probable words that could follow it. And heres the important part... Words you might not normally think to use! Hit a few words semi-randomly and you may have the first sentence of a story you would never have thought of. While you could (probably) never write a whole story with this keyboard, Ive written a lot of fantastic paragraphs that led me places I didnt know I could go. Just try it, honestly, itll change the way you write.
